Kiddos

I attended Gutenberg's graduation, camera at the ready, and then only ended up getting pictures of my kids and me. Guess that's how it goes.

Yes, Summer, I was really happy for Carson and Zak. And I did take pictures of both of them giving their speeches, but they both came out too dark. Thankfully, Erin was there clicking away.

Victoria will be a senior next year. Do I believe that? Not really, yet, but I'd better get used to it.

Thanks, Desiree and Sandy!

I remember oh so well when this young woman was brand new. Her proud parents were visiting the maternal grandparents in Tacoma. Tim and Deanna stopped by my parents home to show off their little girl. Victoria was placed in my arms and I got to hold her. She had that 'factory fresh' new baby smell as she was less than week old. Her little fingers were so small that the last joint in each finger was almost indistinguishable. She was so quiet that I was scared she may have stopped breathing, so I made a slight adjustment to the angle of hand that held her head just so she would make a little noise. Mom (the blogger), made a slight move forward in her seat, as though something might be wrong with the tiny child. But I, at least relaxed, because I knew the little bundle in my arms was alive.

That was the evening I first fell in love.
